Jacksonville Reading Council was chartered on November 22, 2004. It is a professional organization whose primary goal is supporting reading within our community, state, country, and world.

OUR MISSION

"The mission of the Jacksonville Reading Council is to provide opportunities to enhance the knowledge and teaching skills of educators within the Jacksonville City Schools. This meaningful contribution encourages a lifetime reading habit for our students as well as the community of Jacksonville."
